Fleur-de-Lis “Flower of the Lily”
This is the Fleur-de-Lis it’s a legend of a special kind. It’s called the golden lily that will take you back in time. It’s said that lilies sprung up, from the tears shed by Eve. Leaving Eden behind that day, her broken heart did grieve. It symbolized purity upon Christians back then. For life, faith and wisdom, the old was new again. It represents the Trinity the petals that you see. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit these are the three. At the foot of the Cross grown by Virgin Mary years ago, a field of Golden Lilies where her tears made them grow….
